I thought this section of Sophie Ryder's sculpture was worthy of a post of its own. I think the hound's adoring look captures the relationship between a dog and its owner perfectly.
Very beautifully captured emotion. I'm a little dog obsessed lately, and I'm happy that I know that look. Your blog is fascinating! Thanks for visiting me last week, Laurie. I look forward to following you now too!
This sculpture would have fit right in at the Paris dog cemetery...
I left an angel for you last night over at my place, with a little nod to "Creating Pictures". You might say she was a bit "scatter-brained" though, or even an "air head"... do stop by, you'll see what I mean... owen
pure unadulterated love. sigh. That expression of bliss is unbelievably real.
ReplyDeleteThat reminds us of our doggie and the way he looks at us. :) Beautiful sculpture! :) Silke
