Poppy in Detail

I was looking at a very ornate poppy [name unknown] recently and marvelled at nature's wonderful design work. A closer look at the centre reveals more of its beauty.

  2. Beautiful and amazing when "biggified", and as Delwyn thought, very sea anemome-ish.

  5. Lovely. Does very much look like something you'd find along a shoreline in a tidal pool.

  7. Wow! It looks like a delicious confecton you'd find in an upscale bakery! Yum! And it's a variety of poppy? Luscious.

  8. The poppy looks like it could be popping out of an ocean reef.
