Fearsome Creature set in Stone?

I felt a bit uneasy when clambering around in the furthest corner of an RC cemetery this afternoon and more so when I took a closer look at this gravestone I photographed. Is it just me or can anyone see the face of quite a fearsome creature? I won't describe what I can see, but I would appreciate your interpretation of it . . .

    Definitely has a menacing, violent look about it, although I'd be hard pressed to put a finger on exactly why... hope it didn't follow you home ! You sure have a knack for spotting these dangerous looking lurkers... :-D

    I see an elephant, eyes downcast in tears, holding the tiniest of angels in his two fists. What do you see, Laurie? Do tell!

    Well, Margaret, I can see two things. The first is a horned creature with its tongue hanging out - not dissimilar to the rugby players doing the Haaku ceremony. Looking again, I can see a slumbering, benevolent being with a goatee beard!

    I see a Tudor Rose, not a thorn in sight. Same planet, different worlds. Great pictures.
