Early Colour

I just love the way some Edwardian postcards were so well hand-tinted that they looked like real colour photographs. Here are two examples.

    What painstaking work that must have been, things are so much easier now, with our digital cameras, where we can go from color to black and white and back again with one click of a mouse... Your collection is full of treasures ! You may have to open a museum... other than this virtual one...
