Strange Creatures!

Recently, I came across some strange creatures guarding the entrance to Alston Hall near Longridge.

    Oh so wonderful. Do you know their approximate age? Would be wonderful to see them on a stormy day with water pouring from their mouths. Truly great images.

    They are a hoot. But people are always stranger than fiction or stone figures in this case.
