Two nights ago, I was idly flipping through some 15,000 digital images on the computer - as you do - when I came across this photograph of a duck in Frome, Somerset. The eagle-eyed among you may notice that it is standing on the river. The surface is water, not ice. How on earth did it do that? Any ideas?
It looks like you caught him mid jump, a second later and you'd probably have a picture of lots of splashes and a happy soaking wet duck!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Mary - welcome!
ReplyDeleteI can assure you it stood there for ages. Some people I have spoken to have said it must be standing on a submerged object. If you click on the image to enlarge it, you will see what looks like a submerged object is actually its reflection.
Thanks for visiting.
Best wishes
Laurie
