Nature in Art!

Just a few random snaps from my visit to the wonderful Nature in Art attraction in Gloucestershire. I particular like the painting of the logs piled up to attract insects to make their homes, there, and the tortoise! I have previously posted about the metal insect sculptures that are 'fluttering' about the garden.

Nature in Art is the world's first museum and art gallery dedicated fine, decorative and applied art inspired by nature. You can find out more about Nature in Art HERE.

Metal Monsters 2

A return to the Land of the Metal Monsters. It's funny but from time to time I heard metallic noises. Perhaps their metal eyes were following me as I walked through the garden!

Metal Monsters 1

It was a hot Summer's day and I had entered a country garden to enjoy the sights on offer. There was the usual Peacock standing on a wall surveying visitors. I felt slightly uneasy at its behaviour and, as I got nearer, it became startlingly clear that not everything was at it seemed.

Looking around me, I realised the garden was populated by metal monsters. I must have passed into another dimension . . . First the peacock and then another winged creature hoved into view and then another! Yikes!
