The Sea goes out a very long way. Ten minutes of very brisk walking brought us this close! We didn't reach it on this day. Maybe someone borrowed it for a few hours?
Ah, but you know it's there - and I think that thin sliver of silver right on the skyline is maybe water, reflecting the sunlight. Soon no doubt, the tide will come racing in. I love the rippled sand patterns, too, like water-marked taffeta.

ReplyDeleteWould you like a little ocean with your beach?
ReplyDeleteOh, my dogs would love to run on all that damp sand. We never have quite enough of it!
ReplyDeleteThanks Anne. Must be my new glasses - Varifocals and still adjusting to them!
ReplyDeleteHi Sharon. Long time no see on hear. I hope you are well! Perhaps a little more ocean - yes!
Even more sand than Lyme Regis, I guess, Joanna. I am seeing some good work on your blog - lovely!
